EXPERIENCE:

Mr. Ordonez practices in areas of Civil Litigation and Labor and Employment law. He joined Dennis J. Walsh in 1998, and has been a Senior Associate at Walsh & Associates, APC since the firm’s inception in 2003. Prior to joining Mr. Walsh, Mr. Ordonez was an Associate in an AV-rated Downtown Los Angeles firm, where he practiced civil litigation, representing clients in matters involving premises liability, automobile insurance defense, and professional errors and omissions.

 

Mr. Ordonez has successfully represented public and private employers in various types of employment matters, including claims for hostile work environment, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination in violation of public policy, and Labor Code violations. He represents universities, community colleges, school districts, and other public agencies in employment and tort liability matters. He has represented Fortune 500 retailers and public entities in personal injury matters, including premises liability and wrongful death actions. His experience includes numerous depositions, arbitrations and mediations of personal injury and employment disputes, as well as participation in labor commission hearings before the California Labor Commissioner. He has argued before the California Court of Appeals on employment law and tort liability issues.

 

Mr. Ordonez is a panel member of the Los Angeles Superior Court Voluntary Settlement Conference Program.
